An education initiative started at Indiana University, Learning to Teach with Technology Studio pioneered web-based collaboration between educators and mentors. More specifically, LTTS is "an online professional development system to help teachers learn to integrate technology into their content-focused teaching."

thingsthatarebrown, llc designed a number of administrative interfaces for the project. Much of the work performed helped to streamlined the maintenance of course work materials.
