CIE Manager is the administrative application of the Catylist's commercial real estate platform. It supports five distinct user types, each of which manages listings, agent profiles, comparables, properties, billing information, images, etc. In short, CIE Manager is a very complex web-application, so it was important to focus on increasing usability for both first time and power users in the re-design.

As Senior Interface Designer at Catylist, I re-designed and re-architected nearly half a dozen vital user interfaces. The most important change involved on the 'homepage' view of a logged in user, which we reworked by logically grouping site actions into consistent sections and adding appropriate icon headers. We also drove error and alert paging to a consistent location at the top of the page, below the page header. The 'manage listing' interface was also re-designed to present the variety of actions a user can perform on a given listing and provide 'at-a-glance' information about the listing itself. good last sentence.
